Students will be a minimum of 18 years of age and of 1st Kyu (Brown Belt) grade and, following attendance of=
a
coaching award course, will satisfy the examiners in respect of the
following:
&bull Pass a Level I Referee award.
&bull Demonstrate techniques from the senior syllabus of examiner's
choice.
&bull Complete a written examination on coaching techniques and coach=
ing
requirements related to club judo.
Subsequent to the above examination, the student will be assessed =
in a
club environment and will satisfy the examiners in respect of the followi=
ng:
&bull Take the class for exercises
&bull Instruct a class with one technique of the examiners choice.
Students will be a minimum of 1st Dan and, following attendance of=
a
coaching award course, will satisfy the examiners in respect of the
following:
&bull Pass a level I referee award
&bull Demonstrate techniques from the senior syllabus of examiner's
choice
&bull Demonstrate knowledge of Nage No Kata and Katame No Kata.
&bull Complete a written examination on coaching techniques and coach=
ing
requirements related to club judo.
Subsequent to the above examination, the student will be assessed =
in a
club environment and will satisfy the examiners in respect of the followi=
ng:
&bull Take the class for exercises
&bull Instruct a class with two techniques of the examiners choice.
&bull Instruct a Class with a continuation form of the examiner's cho=
ice.
